Citroen updated its Berlingo commercial van late in 2015, bringing new safety features, connectivity tech and subtle exterior styling.
The powertrains carried over unchanged from the outgoing model, with the 1.6-litre petrol producing 80kW/147Nm and offering fuel consumption of 8.2 litres per 100km on the combined cycle, while the 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel with idle-stop pumped out 66kW/215Nm and consumed 5.7L/100km in manual or 4.7L/100km in auto guise.
The refreshed van was offered with an Australian-developed version of its 7.0-inch touchscreen that was fitted with a reversing camera as standard, a feature the company said is a first for the light van sector.
The touchscreen also housed the Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink for Android connectivity systems as well as Siri Eyes Free, Bluetooth and USB and auxiliary jacks.
New standard safety gear included an electronic stability program, traction control and hill-start assist.
