Furthermore, Jeep added a 4x2 rear-drive version for the first time, bringing the Grand Cherokee closer to mainstream rivals like the Ford Territory.
An uplift in interior quality, better multi-media connectivity, and improved instrumentation were further advances, while the diesel engine gained marginally more power and torque.
