ULTRA premium brand Bentley launched the latest-generation Flying Spur in 2013, hailing its arrival as the fastest and most powerful four-door car it has ever built.

Power from the 6.0-litre W12 engine is up 12 per cent to 460kW at 6000rpm and 800Nm of torque available from 2000rpm onwards, making for a 0-100km/h dash in just 4.6 seconds before reaching a top speed of 322km/h.

Fuel consumption for the big thirsty W12 was 14.7L/00km which was a 13.5 per cent improvement over the model it replaced.

For improved ride comfort, Bentley softened the air suspension by 10 per cent at the rear and 13 per cent at the front for normal operation, while the anti-roll bars were softened by 13 per cent (front) and 15 per cent (rear) and suspension bushes 25 per cent softer to reduce road noise and vibration.

Buyers were able to choose between four seats or five, with options including vanity mirrors for the veneered picnic tables, a bottle cooler that could hold two bottles of champagne, and a multimedia system with two 10-inch LCD screens, wireless internet connectivity that turns your car into a mobile hot spot for up to eight devices, a dedicated 64GB hard drive, DVD, SD, USB including a USB charging port and wired or wireless headphones.
