Road TestCar reviews - HSV - Avalanche - wagonHSV modelsThe Car13 Feb 2004 By BRUCE NEWTON THE Avalanche is clothed in typically balls-out HSV bodywork. There’s a unique fascia with a mesh grille, boxy side-steps, geometric wheel arches and a complex rear fascia and tailgate surround. Add in those bright 10-spoke 18 x 8.0-inch wheels and you’ve got a combination that won’t ever be missed at school pick-up time. It’s about as subtle as … an avalanche.
