Future models - Morgan - AeromaxFirst look: Prince MorganThe fastest accelerating sports car in Europe is fit for a prince17 Mar 2005 By TERRY MARTIN THE classic niche British brand Morgan exhibited its Aeromax coupe at the Swiss show, a one-off built for the president of the Banque Baring Brothers Suisse, Prince Eric I. Sturdza. Based on the Aero Eight aluminium chassis, which is claimed to be the lightest V8 production platform in the world, the Matthew Humphries–designed car is a touring coupe with ‘gullwing’ boot openings, hardwood and traditional pleated leather interior and a large, flat load area behind the seats. Power comes from a BMW-sourced N62 V8, with low unladen weight making the Aeromax one of the fastest-accelerating sports cars in Europe.
