Available to order between January and June this year, the V-Specification features a slightly tweaked version of the twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre V12 petrol engine found in the rest of the range, boosting power by 22kW to 442kW. This has also lifted the straight line performance over the regular model, with a zero to 100km/h sprint time of 4.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker than the standard Ghost. Buyers can opt for one of 44,000 colours from Rolls-Royce’s colour palette or choose one of five new exterior colours especially created for the V-Specification variant, such as Graphite, Black Sapphire, Black Kirsch, Arctic White and Infinity Black. Further exterior options include chrome exhausts and 21-inch part-polished alloy wheels. Opening the Ghost’s massive doors reveals new touches in the cabin, including V-Specification motif on the handcrafted leather interior as well as engraving on the tread-plates, while further branding can be found embroidered on the rear armrest. Steel inlays on the on the multimedia screen lid at the front and an exclusively designed clock with a black crown surrounding to the face adds to the super-premium feel of the cabin. Pricing is yet to be revealed for the limited variant and it is unclear whether it will carry a premium over the rest of the Ghost range which kicks off from $645,000 drive-away for the standard sedan and $695,000 for the Extended Wheelbase version. The Ghost is the iconic British marque’s entry-level sedan, coming in at more than $200,000 cheaper than its flagship Phantom limousine that is priced from $855,000 drive-away. In 2012, Rolls-Royce famously rolled back the Australian pricing of its upper-luxury Phantom range, with cuts of between $213,000 and $280,000, depending on the variant. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars chief executive Torsten Müller-Ötvös said the V-Specification celebrates the model’s V12 engine, calling it one of the Ghost’s “defining characteristics”. “Since its introduction in 2009, an extraordinary marriage of assured presence and remarkable driving dynamics has endeared Ghost to a new generation of highly discerning businessmen and women, ensuring the car’s position as the statement of choice for a growing band of successful entrepreneurs around the world.” Read more12th of August 2013 Price cuts boost Rolls-Royce resurgenceRenewed Australian interest in Rolls-Royce after massive $200k price-drop19th of November 2012 Up to $280K off Rolls-Royce PhantomRolls-Royce claims used Phantom values “will not drop further” following price slashAll future modelsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chery Brabham Chrysler Chevrolet Cupra Citroen DS Dodge Fiat Ferrari Foton Ford Great Wall FPV Haval GWM Honda Holden Hummer HSV Infiniti Hyundai Jaguar Isuzu Kia Jeep Land Rover Lamborghini Lexus LDV Mahindra Lotus Mazda Maserati Mercedes-AMG McLaren MG Mercedes-Benz Mitsubishi Mini Opel Nissan Peugeot Pagani Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen Ghost pricing
