Each year this Swiss motoring extravaganza plays host to some of the year's most important new model reveals - and 2012 is no exception.
A wide variety of brands from all over the world have chosen Geneva as the place to debut important new models, from mainstream offerings (new Audi A3, Mercedes-Benz A-class, Volvo V40, Nissan X-Trail, Mitsubishi Outlander and Hyundai i30/ Chevrolet Cruze wagons) to the super exclusive (Lamborghini Aventador J, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to name a few).
Other notable new models include the Ford Fiesta ST hot hatch, Volkswagen Golf GTI cabrio, Bentley EXP 9 F SUV, Jaguar XF Sportbrake wagon, Range Rover Evoque cabrio, Peugeot 208 GTI concept, John Cooper Works Mini Countryman, Opel Mokka, Skoda Citigo 5-dr and new Porsche Boxster.
Notable concept models to be shown include the Hyundai i-oniq, Toyota FT-Bh and Infiniti EMERG-E.
