Future models - Porsche - Panamera - Exclusive SeriesLA Show: Porsche proffers Panamera ExclusiveLeft-hand drive only, limited Panamera Exclusive takes Porsche luxury up a levelGalleryClick to see larger images 31 Oct 2014 PORSCHE will showcase the talents of its Exclusive individualisation service – now in its 28th year – at the Los Angeles motor show next month with the limited-run Panamera Exclusive edition. Just 100 of the exquisitely trimmed, hand-painted Panameras will be built, none of which will come to Australia as they are all destined for left-hand drive markets. Based on the top-tier, long-wheelbase Panamera Turbo S Executive, the special edition is the first Porsche to feature two-tone paintwork with a graduated finish – hence the need for hand-painting. Accentuating the Panamera’s scalloped flanks next to the shark’s gill like vents behind the front wheels is a metallic chestnut brown that gradually fades into the deep metallic black colour covering the rest of the bodywork. A similar effect is replicated inside, where the genuine wood trim transitions from walnut burl to piano black. Italian luxury furniture brand Poltrona Frau supplies the hand-picked, soft Agatha Chestnut Brown leather upholstery for the Exclusive’s four sports seats and lower door panels, with seat ventilation emitted through a unique perforation pattern on the centre panels and a large Porsche logo embossed on the head restraints. Meanwhile the upper door trims are finished in black milled nappa leather with chestnut-coloured contrast stitching and a plaque on the dashboard denotes the build number. The Exclusive’s exterior look is finished with front air intake grilles and 20-inch alloy wheels in the same deep black paintwork as the majority of its body and hand-made badges on the front guards. The Panamera Exclusive premieres Porsche’s new rear seat entertainment system, comprising twin high-definition 10.1-inch touchscreens each with integrated camera and DVD player plus mobile internet access, with audio supplied either via the included cordless headphones or the Panamera’s Burmester surround sound system. As is de rigeur with cars of its type, the Panamera Exclusive is offered with the option of a luxury five-piece luggage set made from the same Poltrona Frau leather, with matching perforations and Porsche logo embossing.
