30/11/15And that's it for another year! The conclusion of the LA show marks the end of the motor show calendar, and it managed to send 2015 off with a bang.

Some of the highlights of the LA show included the reveal of the Fiat 124 Spider, Fiat's new convertible based on the Mazda MX-5. Mercedes-Benz showed off its facelifted SL-Class sportscar, and Lamborghini debuted a rear-wheel-drive version of its ballistic Huracan.

Next on the motor show calendar is the 2016 Detroit Show, kicking off on the 11th January. Mercedes-Benz will preview the facelifted version of its SL-Class grand tourer, which looks to take styling clues from its AMG GT flagship sports car.

There will also be a heavy focus on SUVs at the LA show, with Mazda, Mercedes-Benz and Jeep all showing off new or updated four wheel drive models.

9/11/15The LA motor show is now just around the corner, and promises to end the year on a high.

Mercedes-Benz will debut its GLS SUV, the replacement for the GL-Class and the biggest model in the German car-maker's stable.

Buick will unveil its 2015 model LaCrosse, about which there are rumours of a replacement for the Holden Commodore, when the current VFII model eventually goes out of production.

18/03/15THIS year's Los Angeles Auto Show will once again cap off 2015, but expect Christmas to come a little early as major car brands debut new production and concept models.

Last year saw Mazda unveil its new baby-sized CX-3 and facelifted Mazda6 sedan and wagon and CX-5 mid-size SUV, as well as the North American debut of the next-generation MX-5.

Other production cars revealed include the Jaguar F-Type AWD, Mercedes-Maybach S600 and BMW's X5 and X6 M twins.
