Hard top: The Mazda MX-5 RF made a big splash at this year's New York show.
The New York show is finished for another year and it certainly didn't disappoint, with a number of exciting models and concepts showing their face for the first time.
Mazda revealed the first hardtop version of its new ND MX-5, called the MX-5 RF, short for retractable fastback.
Mercedes-Benz revealed the coupe version of its new mid-sized SUV GLC, to take up the sloped-SUV fight to rival model BMW X4.
A number of supercars get updated, including the Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 V10 and Chevrolet Camaro.
And Subaru showed off its new-gen Impreza, the first car to be built on its brand new global architecture platform.
Next on the auto show calendar is Auto China, taking place in Beijing and starting on April 20.

Th New York International Auto Show kicks off today, with a bunch of exciting new metal being revealed on the showroom floor.
Mercedes-Benz will reveal the slope-backed version of its mid-sized GLC, called the GLC Coupe. It will join its GLE Coupe big brother in Mercedes' coupe SUV stable.
Nissan will reveal an update to its beastly GT-R, sure to excite performance car fans across the world.
Mazda will reveal a hard-top version of its popular MX-5 roadster, offering a more coupe-like look for the diminutive Japanese sports car.
And luxury Hyundai-offshoot brand Genesis will reveal a four-door sedan known only as the 'sports sedan'.

The city that never sleeps is gearing up for the next event on the motor show calendar – the New York International Auto Show, beginning March 23.
Subaru will use New York to debut its next-gen Impreza, the first model to be built on Subaru's all-new global platform, a new all-wheel-drive template on which all future sedan, wagon and SUV Subarus will be manufactured.
Toyota will reveal its updated Kluger, sold in the US as the Highlander. The new Kluger will feature an upgraded 3.5-litre V6, an all-new eight-speed automatic transmission and a major facelift.
And Mercedes-AMG will show off a slightly de-tuned version of its E63, replacing a twin-turbo V8 for a twin-turbo V6 for the E43. It will put out 295kW/520Nm and will hit showrooms in 2017.
