New models - Nissan - GT-R - Black EditionNissan GT-R Black Edition locked in for AustraliaBlack Edition Nissan GT-R will come to Australia from $182,50027 May 2013 AUSTRALIA will become the latest country to get the cosmetically enhanced Black Edition version of the manic Nissan GT-R when it hits selected showrooms next month. Black Edition GT-Rs is no faster than the regular GT-R – which, of course, hardly wants for pace with a sprint time of just 2.8 seconds – but does feature styling tweaks inside and out to set it apart. Specially appointed Recaro seats upholstered in black and red leather highlight the interior with matching door and dashboard trim. On the outside, Black Editions are immediately recognisable with special metallic black 20-inch RAYS alloy wheels and an unpainted carbon-fibre rear spoiler. At $182,500 plus on-road costs, the Black Edition Nissan GT-R will cost $10,500 more than the ‘standard’ version while the even swifter Premium Edition goes for $177,000.
