News - MaseratiMaserati recalls Quattroporte, GranTurismoMY2009 Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo models recalled to fix tie-rods20 Sep 2011 MASERATI has recalled all 2009 model year Quattroporte sedan and GranTurismo coupe models sold in Australia to replace potentially faulty rear tie-rods. The nationwide safety recall affects 35 examples of the high-end Maserati models, due to what the Italian car-maker describes as incorrect machining of the components. According to the ACCC website, “continued use of vehicles equipped with non-conforming rear tie-rods, depending on road conditions, may lead to damage of the rear tie-rod”. Maserati will advise all affected owners by mail, asking them to contact an authorised Maserati dealer for replacement of both rear tie-rods. Read more |
