C3 Series II

CITROEN revised and upgraded its C3 range, with the headline act being the introduction of an 80kW 1.6-litre automatic model variant.

It replaced the 1.6-litre Sensodrive gearbox models in the simplified (and facelifted) Citroen light-car range.

The C3 Series II also benefits from some minor interior and exterior revisions and a more "refined" suspension tune.

WITH sales of its C3 models lagging a little in the first half of 2007, Citroen offered a special drive-away deal and extra equipment on its most popular model.

The Citroen C3 1.6 automatic, which accounts for more than half of all C3 sales, could be ordered for the month of August at the regular price of $23,990 with all all-road costs including dealer delivery charges and stamp duty included.

Also included in the deal are alloy wheels (worth about $1000) and Citroen’s handy Mio C520 portable satellite-navigation system (worth $700), bringing the approximate total value of the deal to more than $3500.
