The UX model from March ’03 was a very mild facelift of the UT.

It added what Ford calls a "safety canopy" (or rollover curtain airbags designed to keep the occupants from rolling out), rear centre lap-sash seatbelts, new colours and trim, revised instrumentation graphics, fresh wheel designs and a chrome-finish grille.
