XF Series II Falcon ute

A 995kg payload, minor trim changes and the adoption of a five-speed manual gearbox distinguish the GLS ute, which replaced the GL ute and van from March – the same month the all-new EA Falcon passenger car range was released.

The 121kW 4.1L engine, power steering and a limited slip diff were standard GLS faire.

The base 750kg payload “Falcon” ute and van continued, with the option of auto transmission and a radio/cassette as standard.
