Sharp exterior styling helped the Q50-based two-door standout in a crowd, especially against its more pedestrian-looking competitors. A generous standard equipment list also featured including auto-levelling LED headlights and foglights, front and rear parking sensors, keyless auto-entry with push-button start, electrically foldable door mirrors, dual-zone climate control, semi-aniline leather trim with heated and eight-way electrically adjustable front seats, satellite navigation with twin 8.0-inch/7.0-inch colour screens, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Safety tech extended to six airbags, reversing camera, electronic stability control. traction control, and autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with ‘predictive’ forward collision warning. The range was topped by the Red Sport, which featured a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine that punched out 298kW and 475Nm.
