Toyota LandCruiser PradoKDJ150R Series II Prado1 Nov 2017 Toyota Australia updated its LandCruiser Prado large SUV, trimming the cost of the majority of the variants while updating styling and specification. The 4.0-litre petrol V6 was deleted from the range after contributing to just 1.2 per cent of Australian Prado sales. As part of the upgrade, automatic versions saw a 500kg increase in braked towing capacity, up to 3000kg. Styling was revised to reflect the Prado’s status as a member of Toyota’s LandCruiser family, with a revised headlight and bonnet design that aligned it more closely to its 200 Series LandCruiser big brother. The lower corners of the front and rear bumpers were restyled to increase approach and departure angles, while the tail-light clusters were also altered. When it was new |
