LAND Rover's Discovery still rates as the 4WD most contenders would like to equal in terms of overall ability. In its latest guise, it looks the same although most of the panels are new, and gets an even more impressive suspension system that rates it among the best on-road performers as well as a virtually peerless off-roader. It is also longer, allowing a proper third-row seat installation. And there's an impressive all-new five-cylinder turbo-diesel.
