Future models - BMW - X3 - 2.0dX3 range now from $62,900A 2.0d turbo-diesel variant will lower the BMW X3's entry price to under $63,0002 Aug 2007 BMW has confirmed it will introduce a new entry-level diesel variant for its X3 compact SUV range in November, as revealed last issue. To be priced at $62,900 ($400 more than we forecast), the six-speed auto-only X3 2.0d is powered by the same third-generation all-alloy 125kW/340Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that propels the recently released 120d and 520d, which is also expected to be confirmed for a local launch by year’s end. As reported, the 2.0d will feature the same standard specification as the 2.5si, which is priced at $65,900 for the six-speed manual.
