Future models - Bufori - La JoyaSydney show: New Buforis on horizonBouyed by its Sydney show debut, Bufori confirms two new models are in the pipeline16 Oct 2007 By PHILIP LORD BUFORI says it will have two new models to add to its La Joya two-seater within the year. Group Chairman of Bufori Motor Company, Anthony Khouri, says the company is working on a four-seat La Joya and a ‘modern’ muscle car, which is in prototype stage pending a production announcement in six months. “We’ve got two prototypes almost finished now - a modern version, a full-on muscle car and one a current version of the La Joya but a four-door. It’s a very much upmarket four-door VIP car," he said. Mr Khouri expects the new models could arrive here by mid to late-2008. Currently only 300 La Joyas are hand-built per year by 150 artisans, and each takes between 800-900 hours to complete. Mr Khouri said a facility upgrade and more workers will allow a volume ramp-up with the new models.
