Future models - Ferrari - F70Geneva show: Ferrari release more ‘F70’ shotsFerrari allow first glance at hybrid powered Enzo successor4 Mar 2013 FERRARI has used its Facebook site to officially confirm that its long-anticipated Enzo supercar successor will debut at the Geneva motor show this week, and that it will be offered in a 'Special Limited Series'. Official word of the new hybrid-powered Ferrari flagship came with another teaser photograph of the vehicle, codenamed F150 but also widely referred to as the F70, showing what appears to be a view over the front wheelarches and a hint of what the nose and roofline will look like. The new Ferrari will rival the Porsche 918 and McLaren's P1, which also makes its world premiere in production form at this week's Swiss show. To date, the Italian supercar marque has shown a variety of dimly lit photographs and detail shots including a badge close-up and a pair of tailpipes. On its Facebook site, which marks a departure in promotion terms for the notoriously secret Ferrari, the company posted a number of messages designed to build further excitement in the lead-up to the new model's presentation, including: "The waiting has an end and every detail will be unveiled: the new Ferrari Special Limited Series will officially presented to the public at the Geneva Car Show on 5 March. Are you really curious? Then here’s another detail!" Left: Close-up Ferrari F70 details Some of the first details of the new model emerged at the Paris shown last September when Ferrari chief Luca di Montezemolo revealed the car would be powered by a hybrid powertrain. Formula One technology will also be implemented to develop its Hy-KERS system as well as the ultra-hi-tech carbon-fibre monocoque tub. This latest adoption of social media as a method of releasing teasers may mark the beginning of a new Ferrari in more ways than one.
