Future models - Lotus - Europa - SSydney show: Europa debuts for LotusLotus debuts its new Europa S flagship coupe in Sydney, priced at $109,99027 Oct 2006 FAMED British sportscar-maker Lotus came out with all guns blazing at Sydney yesterday by revealing a new flagship coupe at one end of its range and a new entry-level roadster at the other. Firmly in the limelight was the Lotus answer to Porsche’s Cayman, the all-new Europa S two-seater coupe, which goes on sale in late January priced at $109,990 in manual-only guise. At the other end of the Lotus line-up is a new Elise S convertible variant, which ditches the roadster’s now defunct Rover K-Series four-cylinder in favour of a 1.8-litre Toyota engine that offers 100kW. Priced from $69,990 and now on sale, the Elise S comes standard with air-conditioning and a manual transmission.
