Future models - Mini - ConvertibleFirst look: Mini Cabrio comingBMW releases pictures of the Mini Cabrio to be launched in Australia in October12 Feb 2004 BMW has revealed first pics of the Mini Cabrio, which will make its world debut at the Geneva motor show in early March. This is one Geneva launch that is definitely relevant for Australia, with a local launch set for the Sydney motor show in October. The cabrio will go on sale here in 85kW Cooper and 120kW Cooper S form in January 2005, with a hefty $10,000 to $12,000 mark-up tipped over the hard-top version. The cabrio has a traditional cloth top which folds behind the rear seats in 15 seconds at the touch of the button. There is also a sliding roof mode that opens 40cm at up to 120km/h.
