Future models - Peugeot - 907First look: Pug 907 to hog Paris limelightPeugeot unveils a stunning new 907 GT concept to stun Parisian show goers3 Sep 2004 SENDING another signal to the world that bona fide performance cars are still on its agenda, Peugeot has revealed a stunning GT coupe in the form of the 907. Sure to steal much of the limelight when it debuts in the metal at its home-turf motor show from September 25, 907 will lead a gaggle of new Pugs to be revealed in Paris. These include the important new 407 medium sedan and 407 SW wagon, 1007 and 1007RC mini cars, and no fewer than 52 other production and three concept cars on more than an acre of exhibit space. Purely a concept, Peugeot says the 907 is "the archetypal touring car" that points to the past, the present and the future by combining a heavily sculpted classical two-seater body with a large engine, in this case a mid-mounted 368kW 6.0-litre V12 with six-speed manual rear transaxle. The instrument panel, although digital, is displayed in analogue style and the touch screen of the central console is connected to a PC comprising GPS and an MP3 player. Dimensions include a 2500mm wheelbase, 4370mm length, 1880mm width, 1210mm height and a kerb weight of 1400kg.
