New models - Audi - SQ8 - etronAudi SQ8 e-tron priced for AustraliaFlagship Audi SQ8 e-tron SUV range here from Q2 2024, priced from $173,600 +ORC8 Dec 2023 By MATT BROGAN AUDI Australia has priced its keenly anticipated SQ8 e-tron range this week, the all-electric SUV and Sportback (SUV-Coupe) duo due in local showrooms from the second quarter of 2024 listed from $173,600 plus on-road costs and $180,600 +ORC respectively – or $19,700 more than the current Q8 e-tron 55 quattro (starting from $153,900 +ORC).
The price tag places the all-electric Audi duo within cooee of the BMW iX xDrive50 (from $185,400 +ORC) and Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4Matic (from $189,900 +ORC).
Developing a zesty 370kW of power and 973Nm of torque from its three-motor driveline, the SQ8 e-tron can accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in an impressive 4.5 seconds on its way to an electronically limited v-max of 210km/h.
Each SQ8 e-tron variant features a 106kWh (net) battery pack to offer a driving range of up to 471km (WLTP) and features high-capacity DC charging at a rate of up to 170kW. The claimed 10-80 per cent recharging time is listed at 31 minutes.
As standard, the 2024 Audi SQ8 e-tron range will feature 22-inch alloy wheels, air suspension, LED headlights, autonomous emergency braking, and 360-degree camera and parking assistance.
Inside, a strong equipment list includes sport seats with Valcona upholstery, a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit (digital instrument panel), a 10.1-inch infotainment array with 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D sound, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, DAB+ digital radio reception, an 8.6-inch climate control array with four-zone climate control, and wireless device charging.
A long list of optional equipment is further offered, including an Air Quality feature as part of the climate control system, a leather dashboard upper, integrated rear window sun blinds, heated outboard rear seats, soft-close doors, LED entrance lights, and LED digital matrix headlights.
A 22kW AC charger may also be optioned.
