Based on the mid-range all-wheel-drive 2.0-litre diesel five-door Td4 180 SE wagon that usually sells for $67,160 plus on-road costs, the Landmark is now available for order at $74,351 – a premium of $7191. The big-ticket additions for the Landmark include bigger, gloss grey 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic roof and special black leather-clad seats with contrast stitching and perforated leather inserts. The bodykit includes a charcoal grey grille treatment and grey vents on the bonnet and fenders. Inside, the console has a brushed-metallic finish, while above it sits the latest 10-inch infotainment screen with apps such as Spotify and a 4G WiFi hotspot. The Landmark comes in a special turquoise colour said to be based on the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Moraine Blue. If that is too much, plain old white and grey are available too. The engine is the more powerful, 132kW version of the Evoque’s 2.0-litre diesel that is also good for 430Nm of torque. It comes standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission and delivers a claimed 5.1 litres per 100km on the combined fuel economy test cycle. Land Rover says the Evoque Landmark was created to celebrate six years of Evoque production. In that period, 600,000 have been built at the Halewood plant in the United Kingdom. Production of the Evoque Landmark is scheduled to start in July, with first Australian shipments arriving in late September or early October. Unlike limited-edition models from other brands, the Evoque Landmark is only constrained by its production availability of about 12 months.
