New models - Nissan - 350ZRunning changes for Nissan's Z-carA host of running changes are made to the popular 350Z coupe3 Dec 2003 IT’S only been on sale for 10 months, but already Nissan has made running changes to its popular 350Z coupe. Different suspension, similar to the more compliant specification found in the 350Z Roadster, will now feature on local Z coupes in response to ride quality criticism, while automatic Track variants will also soon be offered. Among a host of convenience and cosmetic changes is new soft-feel paint for the centre cluster, a redesigned version of the current car’s cantankerous storage lid, new dash knee pads, more armrest padding, the addition of driver’s seatbelt height adjustment and a driver’s seatbelt service arm. A dark pewter colour popular in the US and Japan will also replace the unloved white paint colour here. There will be no price change for the upgraded 350Z coupe, which has almost doubled Nissan’s own sales forecasts by attracting 1553 customers since launching in February. The 350Z Roadster went on sale in October.
