New models - Subaru - ExigaSubaru loads up Exiga for summer holidayLimited-edition Subaru Liberty Exiga family fun bus offered with extras19 Dec 2012 SUBARU Australia has spiced up its Liberty Exiga people-mover to help sales along over summer, adding a bunch of accessories and other incentives. While pricing remains at $37,990 plus on-road costs for the base 2.5i and $42,490 for the 2.5i Premium, the seven-seat family hauler gets floor mats, cargo tray, reverse parking sensors, four-year warranty, four-year roadside assist and a Columbia sportswear gift voucher ($500 for 2.5i and $750 for 2.5i Premium). Subaru will offer a limited run of 200 of the special edition all-wheel-drive wagons. Subaru Australia managing director Nick Senior said: “Liberty Exiga is achieving a new level of interest since we added the seventh seat. “It’s a great family wagon with the peace-of-mind of a five-star ANCAP occupant safety rating. “The extra warranty and roadside assist makes this special offer even more compelling.” The Exiga was launched with six seats in 2009, but gained an extra seat with three-point seatbelt in the middle row as part of a facelift in July this year. Official VFACTS sales figures do not break out Exiga sales from the broader Liberty range which has fired on all cylinders for the importer this year, with sales up 12.2 per cent to the end of November.
