Significant new car price rises in NovemberIncreased list pricing across multiple vehicle line-ups set to challenge new car affordability
2 Nov 2023 NEW CAR prices continue their upward trend in November with 10 importers lifting the price on over to 150 variants.
While most of the increases listed below could be deemed incremental, several see the price of a new car increase by more than $5000 – with one in particular jumping a massive $25K.
On average, new car prices for November have risen by $2013.
Of the 152 model variants listed below, just one, the Volvo XC40 Ultimate B4 Dark AWD decreases in price, falling $2000 to $64,990 plus on-road costs.
Abarth
Abarth has announced an update of its 695 Competizione range this month alongside a price increase of $1500. The range now begins from $37,990 plus on-road costs, while the incoming electric line-up will start from $58,900 +ORC.

Audi list prices have increased across almost the entire range this November as MY24 stock begins to arrive in dealerships. A1 variants increase from as little as $1550 while the Q8 e-tron Sportback 55 quattro jumps by $8825.

GMSV’s Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Premium and ZR2 variants jump considerably this month with pricing now beginning at $128,000 and $133,000 plus on-road costs respectively. The increases represent increases of between $7000 and $9000.

Ford pricing increases (NOV):
Everest and Ranger models receive yet another price increase this month, rising from between $200 and $1200. Entry prices for the Everest climb $200 to now start from $53,490 +ORC, while Ranger utility models now begin at $36,380 +ORC, also increasing by $200.

Modest incremental price changes come to just three Mazda models in November, including the newly updated Mazda2 and all-new CX-60 and CX-90 SUV duo. Mazda2 variants now start at $24,720 (+$310), the CX-60 from $60,400 (+$600) and the CX-90 from $74,400 (+$600).
