Rolls-Royce notches up 50 sales as 13 buyers stump up for the $1.19m Drophead Coupe

14 Sep 2007

A FUNCTION to launch the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe in Melbourne last Thursday night proved profitable for the brand’s importer, Trivett Classic.

The company took two orders for the $1.19 million convertible and also sold a $915,000 Phantom sedan on the night.

It now has 13 orders placed for the Drophead, six of which will be delivered this year before the rest arrive next year.

Trivett Classic sold 12 Phantoms in 2005, another 12 last year and expects to sell 13 this year, not including Drophead sales.
