Since its introduction in 2010, the 3008 had been a consistent if not volume seller for Peugeot, but for a mid-life update, the French car-maker gave its European looks a nip and tuck, while hacking the range offerings in half.
Out went the previously range-topping Allure versions, leaving just the more affordable Active variants, but Peugeot went further by reducing pricing while adding in extra equipment for the remaining diesel and petrol pair.
A new optional Premium pack gave customers the choice to boost comfort levels even further, while reversing camera, satellite navigation became standard fare.
