The E-Pace became the second SUV in Jaguar’s range when it launched locally in March 2018, with buyers offered a huge range of choice regarding specification and powertrains.

Jaguar’s small/medium SUV aimed to attract a younger, more female buyer to the brand to change its perception as an older man’s manufacturer, with funky styling inside and out.

The E-Pace was based on the same chassis as the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport, and was offered with a range of 2.0-litre Ingenium engines.

Three turbo-diesel variants ranged in output from 110kW/380Nm to 177kW/500Nm, while the two turbo-petrol units produced 183kW/365Nm and 221kW/400Nm.

When it launched, Jaguar predicted that the E-Pace would become its best-selling model.
