Infiniti Q50Range1 Feb 2014 Infiniti’s take on the mid-size sedan segment, the Q50, launched in Australia in early 2014 and was marketed as an alternative in the luxury car market. A 2.1-litre Daimler-sourced turbo-diesel variant opened the range, which made 125kW/400Nm and returned a fuel economy figure of 5.2-Litres per 100 kilometres. A 268kW/546NM V6 petrol/electric combination was the range-topper, returning a 7.2L/100km fuel economy rating and sprinted from zero to 100km in 5.1 seconds. All variants were mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and came standard with features that included 17-inch wheels, dual touchscreen displays, satellite-navigation, LED headlights and Bluetooth.
