Super TestCar reviews - Hyundai - Accent - 3-dr hatchHyundai modelsSeat Plan6 Feb 2001 By P TIBBLES THE Accent is available in three and five-door hatchback form, as well as a four-door sedan, all of them capable of seating five passengers. The Accent uses more high-tensile steel in its body structure than its predecessor, the Excel. It uses a separate bolt-on frame for mounting engine and transmission, which helps with noise reduction. Other measures include upper door closures now double-sealed, thicker carpets, improved under-carpet foam padding and a dash isolator pad.
