Mitsubishi kicked off the sub-segment of the 4WD category with the Challenger – a Triton-based wagon – which has now morphed into the Pajero Sport and, with the addition of a third-row seating, is a capable off-roader that can cart a horde of offspring to school.
The five, and now seven-seater, has chugged along since being introduced in early 2016, quietly selling in the shadows of the Pajero large SUV and Mitsubishi’s smaller SUVs will less emphasis on off-roading.
