Super TestCar reviews - Renault - Scenic - 2.0 DynamiqueRenault modelsDash9 Aug 2001 SCENIC'S interior designers have aimed to create a modern look with curved surfaces across the dash and cockpit that suit the exterior appearance. A large soft-covered hood sweeps across the dash, housing the white-faced vital instruments (which turn orange at night) and an LCD panel for stereo settings, clock and outside temperature. The instruments are clustered around a display for warnings and indicators and a small separate screen in the speedometer arc shows the odometer and trip computer settings, which are altered from a button at the tip of the right-hand steering column stalk. Seatbelt and door-ajar warning lights that sit alongside this multi-function display, and most of those are located in the instrument binnacle, are unfortunately visible when not in use. The top of the dash contains a lidded storage bin.
