Super TestCar reviews - Renault - Scenic - 2.0 DynamiqueRenault modelsSteering9 Aug 2001 SCENIC uses a power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system. The steering column is tilt-adjustable, and in addition to the usual lights/wipers/indicator stalks, there's a small stalk with stereo controls attached. The airbag steering wheel, which is wrapped in leather on Dynamique and Privilege models, requires 3.5 turns lock to lock - a high gearing, necessitating more turns of the wheel than most vehicles which tend to average around 3.0. The turning circle is a reasonably good 10.7 metres.
