Future models - Ford - Fiesta - STFord Fiesta ST looks quite the partyHot Fiesta circuit footage promises to make your tail wag14 Mar 2013 The Ford Fiesta ST is promising impressive agility after footage was released from the esteemed proving ground ‘Track 7’ in Lommel, Belgium. Expertly piloted by seasoned Ford Vehicle Dynamics specialist David Put, the little Ford slides from one corner of the damp test circuit to the next at the fringes of adhesion. Various chassis modifications have been made to the ST over the standard Fiesta including a 15mm ride height reduction, modified geometry, low profile tyres on larger wheels and Fords Torque Vectoring Control system. With a 132kW 1.6 turbo and six speed manual gearbox up front the result appears to be a capable package in the right hands. Prior to the showcase footage the car had been developed at the Nurburgring in Germany - the country in which the three-door version will also be built. The recently released footage suggests the Fiesta ST will be as exciting as previous ST badged models and is adding to anticipation amongst enthusiasts prior to the Australian launch later this year.
