Sydney show: Smart Roadster debuts

THE first local look at the Smart Roadster, accompanied by bikini-clad dancing girls, was a highlight of the Sydney motor show.

The tiny two-seater goes on sale in November priced at $37,990 and is powered by a turbocharged 698cc three-cylinder engine that produces 60kW and 110Nm - good enough to push the 790kg package from 0-100km/h in 10.9 seconds.
