Mercedes-Benz released its next-generation C-Class in August 2014, described as a “downsized S-Class”.
Available at launch with three different variants, the base petrol C200, the more powerful C250 and the diesel-powered C250 BlueTec.
Standard features in the new C-Class included satellite navigation, ambient lighting, keyless start, an electric parking brake, leather upholstery and active park assist.
A wagon version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class arrived on Australian shores in December 2014, alongside the C300 BlueTec Hybrid sedan.
Wagon versions of the C-Class featured the same engine options as its sedan counterpart, while the new flagship sedan is powered by the same engine as the C250 coupled with an electric motor.
