New models - RenaultEnd-of-year deals for Renault LCVsDriveaway pricing, extra kit for entire Renault LCV range7 May 2013 RENAULT has added extra gear and driveaway pricing to sweeten its three-model light-commercial vehicle range in the countdown to the end of the financial year. Until the end of June, the short-wheelbase Kangoo van, previously available for $20,990 in petrol manual guise before on-road costs, is now driveaway for the same price and comes with dual sliding side doors. Pricing for the mid-size Trafic van is cut to $29,990 driveaway for the short-wheelbase manual, a sizeable drop from the $35,990 driveaway price that Renault previously offered. A long-wheelbase version of the Trafic will cost $32,990, a saving of $3000, while the larger Master van now retails from $46,990 driveaway. Renault has thrown in free satellite navigation on all three models, as long as the vehicles are ordered between May 1 and June 30. Renault introduced a five-year, 200,000 kilometre warranty across its commercial vehicle range in October last year, while capped-price servicing was introduced in January. The French importer will see a further boost to LCV sales after announcing a deal to be the majority supplier for Australia Post for the next five years. Renault Australia’s end-of-financial year deal follows similar announcements from Japanese car-makers Honda and Mitsubishi in the last week.
