News - HondaHonda Australia PR chief moves onHonda Australia’s national public relations manager leaves after nine years27 May 2011 By TERRY MARTIN HONDA Australia’s national public relations manager Mark Higgins has left the company after nine years of service. Public relations assistant manager Melissa Cross has confirmed to GoAuto that Mr Higgins left the company on May 10. Ms Cross is currently handling all media enquiries. “Yes, Mark Higgins has moved on from Honda,” she said. “He decided to leave to seek out other challenges. He enjoyed his nine years at Honda and wishes all at Honda the best.” Ms Cross said she was unable to provide further information “at this stage” on issues such as whether Honda Australia was now conducting a search for a replacement for Mr Higgins. Mr Higgins joined Honda Australia as national PR manager in August 2002, having spent the previous five years in promotions and publicity at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
