AT the same time as they launched the small Partner van, Peugeot released the mid-size Expert light commercial van to compete with Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen in Australia.
The same vehicle under the skin as the Fiat Scudo and the Citroen Dispatch, the Expert was available in three different sizes and had a payload of 1188kg and the load floor has eight locating rings that can be used to secure loads, while the rear barn doors folded out to 180 degrees and there were sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle.
The Expert was powered by a 2.0-litre common-rail turbo-diesel engine with two different outputs mated to a six-speed manual transmission only.
