Jacqui Madelin's passion for motoring was fired after spending weekends cleaning vintage bike and car parts for petrolhead cousins in the UK.
Arriving in NZ 23 years ago, Jacqui took up motorcycle travel, then writing, eventually working for Kiwi Rider motorcycle magazine and NZ Autocar.
Freelance for the last decade, Jacqui's worked for titles as diverse as NZ Classic Car and NZV8 NZ Top Gear NZ Investor, and AA Torque magazines, among others.
Regular motorcycle outlets include NZ's Manawatu Standard, the NZ Automobile Association and Kiwi Rider magazine in between keeping her trail bike and aged BMW twin in running order.
Jacqui's currently the motoring editor of the NZ Herald on Sunday and contributes to NZ Classic Car, NZV8, Petrolhead and NZ Company Vehicle as well as GoAuto.
