Codenamed TU5J4, changes from this engine's predecessor include reprofiling the inlet and exhaust manifold, and increasing the size of the inlet valves. Sequential fuel injection and a fly-by-wire electronic throttle are also now part of the package. Standard unleaded fuel is okay to use, with the offial consumption given at 9.3L/100km on the city cycle and 5.5L/100 for highway driving.
