Super TestCar reviews - Ford - Falcon - Forte LPG sedanFord modelsOverviewThe AUIII Falcon Forte was available in LPG13 May 2002 IT IS necessary to look closely if you want to detect the visual differences between AUII and AUIII Falcons, but the important thing is that anti-lock brakes are now standard on every Falcon sedan, including the base-model Forte. For the really pragmatic, the well-equipped Ford also makes a lot of sense in terms of both value for money and operational reliability. Add the availability of dedicated LPG and you have a very competitive line-up that even looks slightly better than before. The AU model's immediate predecessor was EL Falcon (pictured), which first appeared in September 1996 and whose lineage can be traced back to the all-new EA Falcon of 1988. Forte replaced GLi as the name for Ford's entry level Falcon from the AU model onwards. |
