In accordance with US head impact regulations, ribbed material is utilised in the A and B-pillar trim lining. Shock-absorbing pads are concealed in the roof liner. Safety in side-on collision is aided by impact bars and rear door catcher pins. All outboard passengers have lap-sash seatbelts and adjustable headrests.
