Super TestCar reviews - Ford - T-Series - TS50 sedanFord modelsResearch Ford Brakes10 May 2002 ONCE a sore point, braking is now one of Falcon's fortes - and T-Series models improve on that with a brilliant standard braking system. All models receive large 329mm x 28mm grooved and ventilated front discs and 287mm x 16mm grooved rear discs - each with twin-piston callipers. The only difference is the TE's callipers are painted black with a Tickford logo, while the TS and TL's are red with a Tickford logo. A three-channel Bosch anti-lock braking system supports the cause in manuals, while auto TS50s get four-channel ABS. Did you know?An even beefier braking system is available, HSV-style, for all three T-Series models. It includes massive cross-drilled rotors (355 x 32mm front and 330 x 28mm rear), plus red four-piston Brembo callipers all round (pictured above)All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
