Road TestCar reviews - Ford - Territory - Turbo 5-dr wagonFord modelsOverviewFord's Terry Turbo beats the X5 and Cayenne at their own game - for half the price17 Nov 2006 By CHRIS HARRIS FORD has really taken on the industry elite with its Territory Turbo. How much more insolent can you get than a Falcon-based SUV that is faster-accelerating than a 4.4-litre V8 BMW X5, a Porsche Cayenne S and a Mercedes-Benz ML500? To add insult to injury, the Territory Turbo, which is less than half the price of the hi-po Europeans, also handles and rides like a true thoroughbred. Further, there’s nothing crass about the way the Ford presents either. Swap the badges of the discreet sports SUV for something more upmarket and it wouldn’t look out of place. It is available as a seven-seater too.
