Super TestCar reviews - Honda - Accord - V6-L sedanHonda modelsSuspension13 Feb 2001 By BRUCE NEWTON HONDA has redesigned its double-wishbone front suspension with higher mounting points for the springs for a more compliant ride, while the roll centre has been reduced by 67mm to give less understeer and more control when cornering. The rear suspension is all-new, hanging off a steel subframe and comprising five links - three lateral and two longitudinal. Greater toe control means more stability and there is more compliance to reduce harshness. The angled, compact design also means more space for rear-seat passengers.
